The Face in the Room: 522 Bigham Road This series like my others is based on the idea of seeing one place intensely over a period of time. In this case the subject is the townhouse in Chatham Village, Pittsburgh, PA where my wife Marty and I have lived for more than 10 years.

The photographs are approximately 10” x 10” carbon-pigment images, printed on 13” x 17” archival Somerset Velvet unenhanced watercolor paper.

The series was begun in late winter 2005 and is expected to continue over a five year period. The work-in-progress will be posted beginning in late 2008.
